Ally Bunbury is a bestselling author, raised in Ireland and educated at Newtown School, Waterford. First, Ally secured an honours degree in History and Sociology at Maynooth University, Ireland. Next, heavily influenced by BBC's Absolutely Fabulous, she embarked upon a PR career in New York, London and Dublin (including a well timed personal sabbatical in Paris to 'find herself', which fortunately she did, as it was in the Capital of Romance where Ally wrote the first draft of The Inheritance.) Next came love (take a bow, Turtle Bunbury) then came marriage, and once two baby girls in a carriage arrived, Ally opened her draft novel, which turned into her debut.
The Inheritance was published (thank you Poolbeg Press) in March, 2017, and reprinted in February 2018. Her second novel, Infidelity, was published (again, with thanks to Paula Campbell of Poolbeg Press) in May 2018 and reprinted a year later in May 2019. A frequent contributor to the Irish Times and other titles, Ally lives with her husband and two daughters, overlooking the Wicklow mountains. Ally is now writing her forth novel.
